my nephew has a little deutz allis 5230, with a bad enjine, (broken crank), it seems that this is a common failure on the little toyosha motors

has anyone here ever swapped another enjine out on one of these, and if so what did you use ?

i know this is not a true allis but thought someone might have some knowledge they would share

thanks
larry

Hi Larry,

The Toyosha/Hinomoto units were nice little tractors, but parts are getting hard to find.  For what it's worth, the MF 1035 used the same engine as the DA 5230.  That might help to expand your search.  Hope you get the 5230 back up and running.  Best of luck.

Hi Larry ,My name is Mike Cardiff and I  just read your post about your  Allis  with the Toyosha  engine . I am wondering  how you made out  getting a engine swap . If  you were successful  would you been  interested in selling the fuel injection pump off the Toyosha . Please let me know  or if you  don't mind call me collect and ask for mike  at 905 892 6072
