Don't see these AC jacks often for sale or on Equipment. Are they a missed item or just worth too much?

I was around Dad's dealership quite a bit in the late 60's and early 70's and I don't remember seeing those types of jacks on implements.  What were they used on?

Thanks, Tracy, that might explain it.  I don't think we ever sold a hay rake.  I sure don't remember one.  Just corn and soybeans for the most part.

The 110 manure spreader used the ones on the right. I've see the one on the left used as a parking stand for corn pickers.

The rusty one on the left was on my 35 AC picker. The two on the right in gold and orange came off my restored AC 78 rake and AC444 baler. Hope that helps.

The adapted "car jack" on the right was a pain on our A-C rake from day one when it was new. Great rake, but those jacks left a bit to be desired and it was a good effort to keep the costs down at A-C.

I can see why nobody missed them when they fell off or broke off. Not the best design. But better than some others. I don't know when the Bulldog jack hit the market, but I can see why it took over.
