Heck yes. That was worth staying up late for. Too bad my grandpa wasnt alive to see it. When i was little one of my favorite things to do was go to his house and watch baseball with him.

I watched game 6 and 7 and game 6 was one of the best I ever seen. I am a Texas fan because I loved seeing Nolan Ryan as a kid and have his baseball cards and have read his books. I was a pitcher in High School and some college and some of his insite helped me throw in the low to mid 80's. (I can only throw the high 50's and arm hurts for days LOL!!!).

It is great when a hometown kid gets the MVP also !!

I remember as a family growing up like Luke said with my parents watching the WS. I nliked the 86 Mets and the series when  ST Louis and Kansas City had a battle .

Love this time of year of Baseball. Going to be along winter.

Take care and sorry for rambling.

game 6 was the first i have watched. If those are the 2 best teams in baseball, i'd hate to see the worst !!! They need to go back to little league and learn fundamentals !!

I was at the game last night to see them clinch. It was awsome. I think there were more people outside then inside the stadium, during the game.

Game 6 was absolutely the best world series game I have ever seen - I was in Germany when Don Larsen pitched his "perfect World Series Game" and heard it on the radio but did not see it.
I remember watching the first playoff game against the Philly's.  It was the bottom of the first and the Cards were ahead by one run.  I figured the Philadelphia team would easily score a run and win the game.  Well, as you know they did not due to an outstanding pitching performance.
I have been very interested in the Cards since they won that game and series.
Can you believe they have won 11 World Series!!!
Congratulations!!!
Probably one of the best world series in recent years.
Good Luck!
