Agco dealer has them. Be nice if there was an aftermarket source.

This may sound dumb, but what is different about the AC plow bolts?? Ive replaced the shares on my AC plow and got the bolts from TSC. They worked just fine, and are still in use.

The AC plow bolts have a head that looks like a cat's eye. Your TSC has these, Dan ? Edited by Rfdeere - 20 Oct 2011 at 11:11pm |

Are you talking about the clipped head bolts? They are more of an oval shape head than the traditional round.

I looked up the three suggestions above from Gerald. All the pics look the same except one, and none are listed for AC. The only one that looks different is the following link.

Well AGCO had them 2 or 3 years ago, bought a bag full so have not bought any since. Figures they would stop carrying them.

the bolts for the original Bullet Blade shares were unique to Allis. They had a flat head with an oval-shaped or "cat's eye" shoulder as Rfdeere called them, instead of a square shoulder like ordinary plow bolts. They are NOT clipped head, just the shoulder underneath the head is oval shaped. I got some with a set of NOS shares I bought for my plow. If there is an aftermarket replacement for the original shares, which is unlikely, they would use standard plow bolts. You will have to hunt them down at an AGCO dealer there should be some NOS around. D-allis Iowa bought my plow maybe he will be kind enough to take one off and post a picture?

Ive seen those bolts before, no my TSC doesnt carry those. Are they for the older plows? On my 387 bottoms they used the basic plow bolt with the square.

yes, they are generally for 370 and earlier series bottoms, but only for genuine Allis "Bullet Blade" shares. the shares that were on my plow when I got it were an older aftermarket brand and used square shoulder bolts

Fastanal has 186 different sizes/kinds of plow bolts. You can order online at http://www.fastenal.com/web/search/products/plow-bolts/_/N-gj4wbd&in_dim_search=1#sf for delivery to your home or save a few bucks by having them drop shipped to your local fastanal store. Takes a couple of days. They also carry 344 varieties of square headed bolts and 77 different square nuts. Works for me!

they look like you could buy carriage bolts and grind the head to the shape to suit the hole. Bob

They only have 6 diffrent head styles in their plow bolts though, and none of them match the Allis design.
