First off sorry for the wrong forum, but I get more help here than YT. I have a 450 and the PTO needs adjusted It slips when engaging our baler. Once running it never slips. There is a load band and a brake band How do you tighten the load band. Where are the tightening bolts? Once again sorry for the wrong color.

sorry my scanner is out of order but I'll type what the manual says and try to describe the pictures.
#1: loosen the lock nuts & back out the anchor bolts 4 turns.
#2 hold IPTO op lever so punch mark on pawl aligns with punch mark on quadrant.
#3 turn anchor in until reasonably tight, finger tighten lock nuts, move handle back n forth several times.
#4 back out anchor bolts 1 turn n lock lock nuts
# 5use a 5/16 rod 7-8 in long to freely turn shaft with punch mark in alignment
(if it turns easy any other time the bolts are adj. uneven and need to be redone n rechecked)
replace cover & PTO shield ( the described cover is on the right top side of PTO beside the lever pivot)
hope this helps David

Have trouble with mine slipping under load . Have adjusted bands but still seems to slip. Can pull up on lever and it will help but can't seem to get levr to adjust tight enough to keep slippage from being a problem, as now lever is almost two hands to raise.
Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.
