We are trying to free up some space and are offering our Snap Coupler Dirt Scoop for sale.

Bret: Do you know that the decal on back is the right original decal for that scoop? I see that you have a D series scoop. I tried to do some research and never did find what the original decal looked like. If that is what was originally on this unit, then that answers my question. dave.

David, what makes Bret's a D series scoop? I bought one just like his last friday. Mine needs paint, and it doesn't have the twist clevises at the lift attachment points. Does anyone have a manual, or copy of one, available for the scoop? Thanks.

The D series has the rope bracket up on the U shaped iron. It needed it since on the D series tractors you set in front of the axles. Before on the WD&45's, you set behind the axles. didn't need the bracket to get to the rope.

David,
It's been too long since we blasted and painted it to remember what decal, if any, was on it, so no I am unsure if it is correct. It was probably just an old decal we had that we thought would look good on the unit. I do remember however that the stenciled number on the lift bracket was present before the blasting and I reproduced it acurately after we painted it so I know it is correct. I don't know what it represents I just know it was there originally. Interesting that you identified it ad a "D" series unit, we had never given that any thought. With that bit of info, I would have to assume that the decal is in fact wrong as it would have been from a much earlier time.
