Looking at purchasing an engine lift. Has anyone used the combination enginelift/engine stand? Is it wise to go that way or get separate units. Thanks for any info. God Bless

Bob, I didn't know they made a lift/stand combo but I guess it would depend on how much room you have. I have a free standing engine lift and an engine stand. Works good for me as I have found the lift comes in handy for lots of other things also. The only thing I would do differently is buy one of the fold up lifts as it seems that the non folding one always gets a lot of stuff blocking it in when I need it. The engine stands aren't very expensive.

I've not seen a combination lift and stand before. Is it by chance just a lift with a matching stand being sold together? I have a fold up type lift like Lance says is handy for lifting stuff besides engines. Being a fold up sure cuts down on wasted shop space. Can you post a pic? I'd be interested to see how they combined them.
