They say there is on such thing as a stupid question. Why when I see some fans the blades are not evenly spaced?? I would think to balance the fan they would have to be spaced evenly spaced. I will wait to be schooled. Ryan

The ones on my D17 IV are not evenly spaced, however it is still well balanced.  From what I have heard, this style of fan runs quieter somehow.

I know on a Chevy truck there not evenly spaced so you can get to the bolts to unbolt it.

That and let you get a tool in to release the belt tension.  I'm loving the new F150s with electric fans.  You can land a plane under the hoods!

I wish I could say that on the new 6.7 diesel...
If having the blades not evenly spaced makes them quieter, I'd hate to know what an evenly spaced fan sounds like on my D17D. It's 4 blade fan really howls.
