I might paint it later on but I was having trouble finding maroon paint to match it, and have the fear of the paint peeling off later on.

Awesome! you wanna do a 7030 for me?? lol it's gonna involve just a little more work than yours though... nice job on the cancer patching on the cab. Only thing is why didn't you go back with the maroon belly decals? but that aside.. I like it! -Wes

Very nice job! For a phone camera, the pics are not bad. I like how you painted the rear wheels & axles - very sharp. It has some serious rear wheel weights on it. 2 on each side it think? Any wheel fluid in addition to those weights?

I may paint it sometime this summer but we still have to get a few more things ready for planting and I was running out of time. Yes it does have 2 weights on each side but no fluid. On the decals I just went with the black belly ones because I thought they looked a little better. Edited by 7060 - 01 Apr 2011 at 7:27am |

Pretty darn good job. On the console for the hydraulics etc, did you have the words redone (decals or stencil) or was it in that good condition to start with?

The hydraulic lever and range console I bought a new decal kit from Tractor Parts Inc. It came with alot of decals and they did a pretty good job copying them but they send the wiper, air cond., heater decals but no blower motor decal. They also only sell powershift decals so I painted that piece black and cut the powershift part off. The range decal had the towing part ripped off but they sent me another no charge. Awesome! I'll have to remember that when I redo my 7050 and the 7050 I just picked up. Also plan sometime to redo brother's 7030 maybe.
