Still looking for a 170 or 175 front weight bracket for the suitcase weights. I've got the weights located, but still need the bracket. I know I can fab one or use one from a 180 or 185 and use spacers, but would like an original,if at all possible. Please e-mail me at rickinmo@socket.net with price and a pic or two would also be nice. Thanks,Rick

I used one off a 200 and made a spacer to fill the gap for both sides to fit. Has worked well for years.

Yeah,I know about using the spacers and all and I might just have to do it that way,BUT I was hoping to find an original bracket for the 170 first. Who has a real good one for a 180 though,in case I have to go that way? Price and a pic or two would be nice. Rick

I have one from a 185 I think. I'll measure it and send you the inside width. I bought it and the weights and tought about adapting it to a d17. Had it a couple of years and done nothing with it yet. I dig it out of the snow and take a pic tomarrow. Don't know how soon you need it. Shiping might not be cheep I'll try to get a quote on it.

Rick I was at an old Allis dealer this morning buying some suitcase weights for my 175. He told me he had found a 175 weight bracket while they were doing some cleaning up. Davis Tractor, Philadelphia, Tn (423) 337-6868.
