Hey guys it's me again.
Just wondering, am I the only 1 who enjoys restoring old equipment? Not just tractors, but all the equipment?
I have restored an Allis tedder Rake, corn picker, etc.. over the years. And really enjoyed the whole process. Especially using the equipment after its fixed up.
I'm entering a new season in life soon, and look forward to having time once again to fix Allis equipment and using it occasionally...

I enjoy the implements as much as the tractor. I think that's have the fun. I havne't went to the work yet to paint implements, but I've got several mechanically sound.
I've done my 10' disk, and a couple plows. I finished an Allis snap coupler rotary mower (bushhog) this year. That was a fun one.

Nearly finished with a #52 plow (interrupted by roof repair and other things). Also started on a Dunham-Lehr GC78 ground chief disc. CA associated planter and cultivator also partially started. Plow won't take but a day or two to finish. Hope to finish the disc this year, cultivator next year (has to be extricated from a pine tree growing around it). Diversion planned for a rear grader blade for the CA this year to get it ready for next winter (frozen, want it to be rotatable, cutting edge in bad shape, plan to make it dual 3-point and CA pin hitch compatible).

Haven't yet, still hope to do a few but age is catching up so I sold several implements to a younger neighbor. Still want to do a plow for my WD.

Yes sir, time and $ allowing! I too recently retired and hoping for a little restoration time in on a Mono 2000 plow. Perhaps on 2300 disk as well....

I always have a rotobaler in various states of repair. The nice thing about working on an implement is they tend to be a little cheaper to restore
