Question for Dr. Allis or anyone who has knowledge of this.

How do you mount an Allis #3 mower on a CA with a snap coupler,  the mower came off a CA with pin hitch.  I have found a video of some one mounting a #3 on an H farmall????

Sorry. Can't help you. B-C-CA tractors didn't exist in my area.

Thanks, I have seen one now using a 3pt modification, one on a B, one on a H farmall but can't find a newer CA mounted one.

The parts book or an operatetors manual will show the different hitches for different tractors. I'm not where I can look at the books for the #3, however I do know that on a #5 the same main hitch is used for the PinHitch and SnapCoupler tractors with a few extra straps for the SnapCoupler.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

here's the page from the parts book. Nothing is shown as different from the PinHitch to the SnapCoupler tractors. However from what I see here and knowing the differences the rivet (#4) should go through the furthest hole for the rockshaft which you will not have on a snapCoupler tractor.
The CA PickUpPlow manual shows how to change positions of the rockshaft for lift or drawbar work. You will need to have the rockshaft in the position for drawbar work and remove the lift latches. Using the remaining hole on the rockshaft after removing the lift latches will most likely have the front of the mower too high and a PinHitch rockshaft is probably needed unless you fabricate a workaround.

Remove both cylinder pins from the rockshaft, let rockshaft lower all the way to vertical and re-pin lift cylinders in to other hole, as shown in many implement manuals.

Thanks I down loaded onto my desk top, but I may have to modify some stuff, mine is a snap couple hitch so I don't have that bar that holds the draw bar, my draw bar snaps in to the coupler and has mounts under the rear end that hold up the draw bar.  I was looking at the hydraulic part, so may I assume you can turn those screws and stop flow to the cyliners for the arms.
