Can someone verify the fuel fitting type that are on my HD6? I think they are inverted flare (45 deg) but not sure. I'm looking to replace the rubber hose shown in the picture. This is the fuel return hose that connects the engine to the metal return line. Where do I order these fittings?!

On that end it looks like the fitting the hose is attached to is pipe thread where it screws in. If thats the case you could change both parts to JIC. Thats what id do. A hose shop should be able to fix you up. Its accordin to whats on the other end

It is called a "SWIVEL PIPE FITTING"... very common on older tractors... Many parts and hoses available at local Farm and Home Stores... It is a standard PIPE THREAD... but higher quality taper part on each end , so you get a SEAL... that is the only way to make a SWIVEL and still use a pipe thread..... as mentioned, you can convert to the JIC 37 degree flare if you want... those will be available at the Farm Store also.... If you have any type of "Farm Store" close, just go look at the hoses and fittings on the shelf.. they will have both types... here is photo of the SWIVEL PIPE..

Excellent. Thank you! There is a Fleet Farm near so I'll check there. I ran new copper hard line to replace the damaged steel/alloy line and realized they have little ends pressed or brazed on also. Are these fittings that go over hard lines available also?

that kind of looks like a High Pressure Fuel Injection Line ?? You replaced it with copper.. do you know what that line does ? If its a fuel injection line, then it needs to be a steel line with the ball fitting on the end.... if its some type of low pressure line with a odd ball flare on it, i would replace the fitting and corresponding fitting with a ferrule sleeve fitting...
If your sure its low pressure, then do this... probably available in the Plumbing section ( for hot - cold water faucet)..

All of my fuel lines have this style, but this one connected the return line after the fitting (with the restrictor hole) on the engine going back to the tank. I suppose the maximum pressure at max COULD be pump pressure for a few seconds. Maybe 60psi?
