8000 series hydraulics

   Do 8000 series tractors have a priority circuit for the remote outlets?   Everything I find indicates not.  I was thinking an 8050 would be a nice spraying tractor but I obviously don’t want to lose flow to the sprayer pump when lifting or lowering a boom. It seems other brands of that era had priority.

	Since no one has answered you i take a stab. Its been my experience if i set the flow control on that circuit to just enough flow to run the pump it will aleviate that problem. Or aneedle valve in the line to the pump might be easier to adjust. I made extensions for the rods that turn the flow controls to come to the front of the seat. Makes it easier to adjust flow control

	That was the intent and design of the remote valves. Within reason, each one is prioritized so to speak, instead of just one. Your results may vary.

	I sprayed a lot of acres with a 7580 and a pull type wheeled sprayer in the past. Had the flow control on the spray pump turned down to where it ran the pump perfectly without returning much to the tank. I could throttle back to go through washouts, and raise and lower the booms, and it didn't affect the pump pressure at all. Darrel

	Sorry for not noticing this , I can't post it, takes too much time. If someone will send me an email that can post a pdf here there is a simple fix. bgtbran@hotmail.com It needs to go in the knowledge section. The part number on the flow spool is not shown anywhere except the 4w series and is listed as not serviceable on the other 8000 - but the flow check spool can be drilled and allow flow. So Attached will be flow control with pilot check assembly drawing. When higher pressure function is used on another remote the common passage shifts this valve towards closed and restricts the flow, trying to maintain same flow thru smaller opening but at higher pressure. Drilling face allows some flow to continue even if valve totally closes. Edited by tbran - 5 hours 48 minutes ago at 9:39am
