I recently ordered a manifold kit for my d10, which requires 6 long and 2 short studs.

But the studs turned out to all be 1/2” too long.

So, I checked AGCO books and I’m going to order 6 #206987 individually. I know these will work, as they should be roughly 2 1/2 “ long.

But what of the two shorter / lower studs? My manifold just had two bolts/capscrews and not actual studs. Is this correct/original?

AGCO Books diagram is a little confusing. They do depict two different studs, but the second stud pictured has a part # that references the two washers that are used on the studs that go through the “half holes” on the manifold.

If the two capscrews are correct, it doesn’t look like they mention them either.

My D-10 Series 3 appears to have 6 studs. They look to all be the same length, but some may protrude further into the block than others.

I have two other D-10's that are in my warehouse down the street. I will check them tomorrow, but I think these (in the picture) are original.

EDIT: The bottom ones are definitely capscrews (3/8" is my guess). I am quite sure they are original because the orange paint looks unmolested.
