This is what the service manual states but is it accurate?   I am also working on a 7020 engine (Out of a M2 combine).

I bought new rod bolts from AGCO.   I looked at the head of the bolts and they are stamped with "EMP" and "170M".

80-85 ft lbs for 301 rod bolts is toooo much !!   Must be an I & T book ??
