What was the reason some front supports were threaded for weights and others were not. These are both later models. One is tapped and other is not, both have wishbone fronts with hyd pump up front. Thanks, Tracy

You mean the two front face holes like for the slab type weights ?? If you compare chassis serial numbers, I'm guessing the older one may have the threaded holes and the newer one doesn't. A cost reduction measure and everyone was using suitcase style weights by then anyway.
