I need some advice... I have a 1949 G which starts right up but stalls out immediately once the choke is released. It will run as long as the choke is pulled out. I have made sure gas is flowing freely, replaced the sediment bowl with an inline filter, and installed a brand new carburetor. Nothing has changed, help!

Sounds like it could be sucking air someplace. Check intake gaskets.

If you can't find a manifold leak, get rid of the inline filter and put a sediment bowl back on as it was designed to have. Most inline filters are not designed for gravity flow.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

Paul is right.  Lose the inline filter and put the sediment bowl back on.  Sounds like the settings are your carb are a little out of whack too.  Might need to play with the load adjusting screw.
I have read those new Chinese knock off carbs can be pretty touchy to get set up.
