Hi all, I'm having issues finding the correct valves for my D17. thus far I've come across a few kits that specify that they're for specific serial numbers and mine doesn't happen to fall into the range.
from what i can tell its a 1961 D17, SN: 29022D with the 262 diesel.
I'm quite new to working on old tractors so i don't yet know all the sites to checkout but I've only found valves for the 226 or when i do find valves for the 262, there are multiple options for both the intake and exhaust with differing dimensions.
if anyone would know where to look, a point in the right direction would me appreciated,
Thank you.

Maybe try searching d19 diesel valve… think they’re the same if not someone can correct me.
Otherwise you could try Pfouts Family Farm, they seem to have a lot of different valves.
Heres a link with their info https://www.allischalmers.com/sources/index.aspx

Engine serial number will probably help you when searching for parts. It is stamped into a flat area on the block, left side, above the tach drive adapter, just below the head gasket/deck surface. There are differences between early and late D17 diesels, and also some parts exclusive to the turbocharged D19 262D engine. I got my exhaust valves NOS on ebay, and bought new intakes from Wengers’. I had to measure the valve diameter after taking the head off to make sure i got the correct intake valves…. Get familiar with AGCO’s parts lookup website and you can get a good idea of what the latest service parts listed for your engine are.
