   Post a photo of the tag, or decal on the engine and I'll grab one from the shelf at the dealership. They are a Kohler Engines dealer.

   Like most K Series engines, the exhaust port is threaded but there are two threaded holes as well for a gasketed connection. I "assume" the !8 HP might have the 1-1/4" pipe thread like the 16 HP rather than the 1" size on the smaller K-series engines. | |

   Well, that proves my "assumption" was wrong......no pipe threads! I always thought sticking a pipe fitting in the exhaust port on these engines just increased the back pressure anyway. | |
