Ahhh, the mighty One-Ninety with 75 HP on gasoline and 77 HP as a diesel. In many ways, this tractor put the rest of the industry on notice. New features not offered by competitors: high platform up out of the dust for a better view and nearly 9 square feet in size.......tapered and sloping hood..........underhood muffler with only a straight pipe to look around.......suspended clutch and brake pedals.......48 gallon rear mounted fuel tank.........12-position super-deluxe seat........tilt steering wheel........full skirted fenders.........and finally CONSOLE CONTROL for almost every lever you use to operate the new tractor at your right hand !!! What a deal !! How many of these designs were copied by others soon after ???????

Best tractor ever made in my opinion. Love my XT diesel! It does everything well.

Oldoug, you got a great combo! Thanks for sharing. The E Gleaner is looking sharp too. You must have just restored it? Thinking the winner of a 1966 National Corn Picking Contest used a Gleaner E with 2 row wide cornhead? Maybe add a Kilbros model 300 or 350 gravity wagon box riding on an AC 701 or 800 running gear to give the One-Ninety something to pull?

Matt had both of these on display this past weekend at the Pierce Threshing Bee. He did a meticulous job restoring both of them.

Beautiful machines. They will more than likely still be running when the computerized ones are on the way to the smelter

I think that is a model A combine, not an E. I have 4 E's and they all have the air breather between the engine and bin, not behind it like the one in the picture does. Both are beautiful machines. Don Jr.

Good looking machines. Is the combine permanently retired or will it get to see the field now and then?
