Wednesday afternoon, totally pummeled the zucchini, cantaloupe, and shredded the potato plants. Trees got shredded, would estimate 40% leaf loss on our Oaks, and Walnut tree, lawn is totally covered with leaves, and debris/dirt from storm water topping street curb. North side of house siding is dented, and paint missing where hailstones hit. The siding is 50+ year old OSB clapboards. One north facing window on shed broke. Miraculous no windows on the house got cracked or broke. Neighbors car windows smashed, reports of baseball sized hail. You can see the scuff marks on the cedar fence from hail impact. Thankfully we have metal roofs.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

it is not something that anyone wants to happen... nor flood nor drought, nor high wind... prayers that things can be recovered or willl grow back.
Holding a grudge is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die

I’m hoping the stores/garden centers have some young plants left for sale.
