I set up my 716H to vacuum leaves this summer. I purchased the AC system Blower from an eBay supplier, and rigged up the rest of the system using surplus sheet metal for the Deck Boot and furnace piping, and built a tent type cover over a small garden trailer. It works great. Spent about 500$ AC was way ahead of the competition when they brought these systems forward in the sixties/seventies. There are some very pricey trailer type leaf vacuum systems on the market, and lots of YouTubes examples of these and DIY systems Here are some threads I used for info/ideas Hope this helps you |

Forgot to mention you need to be a member of the Simple Tractors Forum to open some of the threads It is an excellent source of Allis Chalmers and Simplicity Garden Tractors and attachments information

The last Thread on my first note has reference to another leaf collection system made by Peco which has the PTO driven Blower and a Bag mounted on the back of the tractor. Perhaps this is what you have purchased

The second Thread on my first post (from Jacks Small Engines), has several AC Vacuum setups mounted on the rear of the tractor.

Here is an AC 712H with a Vacuum Leaf System mounted on the tractor. It looks to be the Peco design. Several pics showing the rear mounted collection bag. The seller might have some additional info Looks to be in very good shape, (and priced accordingly) |

Good luck with your leaf vacuum setup. I am looking forward to the leaf collection benefit and as well the longer term mulch product from the old leaves once they have been in the dump pile for a year or two. The mower deck and the blower really chews up the leaves, and should speed up the mulch transition into leaf mould, which is great for gardens and flower beds

The second transmission area pic of the 712H (Tractorhouse Link) shows the leaf Blower hook up, and it sure looks close to the Allis Chalmers setup in my installation. I believe the 712H setup is a Peco design. The Peco design has the Blower offset to the left a bit, where the AC design has the Blower on center of the tractor I would expect Peco used a universal connection to attach to various manufacturers tractors (John Deere, Cub Cadet, etc) for the mount and PTO drive belt One area to watch is the Mower Deck "Boot" connection. I could not source a "Boot". I made up a home made "Boot" from sheet metal. Lots of YouTube vids on various ways to make a "Boot" from scratch, or modify pre fab units to suit your Mower Deck. Hopefully, your system comes with a "Boot" Good luck with your project
