I have a crankshaft out of an Allis 301 diesel. I haven't had it speced out yet. If it turns out to be in good shape, what is it worth? The opinions so far range from $200 to $1500.

There's at least 2 cranks for 301 CID engines. Knowing it's part number or what engine model number & serial number may help determine the value.

It's out of an M2 combine engine. The serial # was hard to read, but looked like 109 thousand something. I don't know the difference between narrow and wide gears.

First M-2 was 1977, so it would have the wide gear to be able to drive the crankshaft driven oil pump used first on the 200 tractor and later.
