Would that be for the Chevy engine? Was it belt driven? I have a universal belt driven governor available.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Just curious? Does your original governor excessively leak but still function? Or did it shell itself beyond functioning?

It leaked so bad a previous owner had put a piece of aluminum under it to keep oil off the manifold so it wouldn't catch on fire.  My dad was cutting beans with it back before Christmas and the engine ran away and shredded variable speed drive belt before he got it shut down, so I assume something inside of it came apart.
