Hey my friends I took a ride instead of shop work today, bought anotherHD bench for my new heated shop too. I did take a few minutes while bullying the new to me bench through the doors and ran a compression test on her.   Every cyl shot the gauge to between 145 and 150 psi which I’m confused as I didn’t think they should be that high? Is this kosher? Enjoy every day. Dana

That's a new one on me !

How do you run a Compression Test on a HD Bench?

Take FEL and push the Bench up against a wall?

   Any pictures ?

145 is about spot on for M&W pistons. Got an engine kit from Tony years back, it makes about 150.

If you stick a borescope camera in the cylinder, you would be sure what you have for pistons.
