I notice from time to time we discuss the old DC generator here on the forum. Its one of those topics where it could be a lot to type out so, like the power direct adjustment video I made years ago, I made another video on my new YouTube Channel. Check it out, and I hope it helps you guys out if you are ever in need to repair your old Gennie.

Thank-you for posting your outstanding YouTube video.  An excellent combination of the DC electric basics and diagrams making it very understandable, the testing to prove out the various components, and the breakdown, cleaning, and reassembly.  The final fit onto the tractor really helps with the understanding of the wiring and grounding.  The Voltage Regulator info was very well explained

I had the pleasure of rebuilding a D17 generator, with new armature and field coils, last year, and your video would have really helped.

Your video will help DC generator owners keep their charging systems working whether they take the DIY route or have a repair shop involved

Thanks again
