They didn’t say yes, BUT, they did say they can do. Trouble is, they said it will be a minimum of a 10 yard run and around $1,600.00 to do it. Would anyone here be interested in buying into a run of it? I don’t want to build up hopes encase they turn me down once they see it, but my hopes are high enough for all of us. I am going to send them some fabric from one of our old ones. I am EXCITED!!! about this.

Oh, it is pricey, no doubt, but it would be woven on a loom by hand. Not something spit out with a computer in 15 minutes.

I took the advice and bought an air seat, it arrived today but didn't open the box yet.

I did put the original seat on air ride suspensions in an 8050 and a 8070. Pretty well bolted right up. Pretty sure it was a Grammer air ride suspension.

No, I don't. Dad doesn't have the tractors anymore. Was a fairly simple swap as I remember. Probably almost 20 years ago as I was in high school at the time. The 8050 had the original fabric and the 8070 had the original cushions recovered with about the same saddle tan as the rest of the cab and looked pretty nice.

Any photos of the print? I'd probably be interested. Any idea how much fabric each seat would take?
I'm not very familiar with the 8000 series, but can I have a feeling it's a bit different than the fabric on both versions of the Gleaner late series 2/series 3 seats, right?

Dad had both, and 81 and an 84 N6 Gleaner. If I remember right, the 84 had a printed plaid pattern. What I mean by that, is, it was just a smooth material, not woven. I kind of think the 81 had a woven fabric. I will not say it was an identical match to the 8000 series. It was a few days ago, and my memory fades.

I posted to quick. Check out the 83 N6 on TractorHouse. They list six of them and I think it’ll be second from the bottom. It appears to me that it has the same upholstery as the 8000 series. Then look at an 84, it doesn’t look right.

The 83 N6 you are referencing has the base model seat, which is what I kinda thought the 8000 series might look like. The 84 on tractorhouse has the luxury seat, which indeed is a different pattern, and is what my combine has. I do have a tractor that could use a seat recover, so I would probably be interested in some fabric to do a seat.
