Ok, going to get a spare set of wheels and tires for my D-15, Series II.  It has 5-lug rims and  came with 6.50x16's.  I need to get the same bolt pattern and the right wheel width.  If I mesasured correctly , it measured 5" from center of ist hole to far side of 3rd hole which should make it a 5 on 5 i think. Tires are on so cant measure wheel width accurately but tractor data for d-15 says 4.5", at least for series!,  Said nothing about series II width.  Would 4,5 be right for 6.50 x16's?  They didn't appear to be an option with the series 1 (only 5.50x 16).

if you GOOGLE D15 front rims, you normally see that the front were 4.25 x 16 inch 5 bolt on the EARLY tractors and 4.5 x 16 6 bolt on the later...

i think there was a 5.5 x 16 inch rime, 5 bolt for the early D17.

Ed make sure you get tractor rims. Wagon rims can be had with the same bolt pattern and same width. But the centers of the wagon rims are made of thinner metal. If someone on here doesn't have some, a tractor salvage yards is where I'd start looking.

My dad told me that the rims from a 1950 Buick and only the '50 Buick will fit a WD45. I have no idea if this helps with a D15.
