If you want ORIGINAL, you may be looking for a while.. If you want a simple WILL FIT, the Miller Tire and others sell rims with 4 LOOPS.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I bought a "B" that had two of the LOOP rims mounted on it.. Just use a 5/8 bolt about 4 inches long with a big washer and nut on the back. Real simple and never comes loose...This was STANDARD on some "other" tractors, and they do fit the B- C ALLIS ... I cant remember right now which company used the LOOPS... i looked it up 15 years ago.

I put a lot of those loop rims on when I had the tire shop. I found out it was far easier to bolt them on using a impact wrench. Some of the loops were off a little bit and if took forever to tighten them with a ratchet.

I have the loop-style rims on my Model C, they are MUCH better than those phony wedge types that never really wanted to stay put.

From what I remember, the wheels are 24" 9" wide. This is the nominal size for 9.5-24 tire. Wider rims may have been option. Wider tire should fit the 9" rim. The original Allis rims (on my C) have a continuous 360 degree formed "bump" that the eccentrics nestled onto. I think the rims for sale today have 4 short (intermittent) bumps for the clamps. They have 2 drive pads welded on to trap one of the two non-eccentric (fixed) clamps. |

i think Brian is right, the 9 inch seem to be the most popular and the cheapest.. Also i see that the BOLT to BOLT distance seems to vary 1/8 inch between the different rims.... Probably just difference when converting from China Metric to Inches ??

i just mounted up two brand new 14.9 28 firestone super all traction 23 on 12 inch rims and seem to look ok on the sidewall profile. so if i go with 12.4 24 on the C, and i have to buy rims 10" would probley be the best . dosnt seem like there are tens with that 19 3/4 bolt space

I think the 10" rim is what you want for the 12.4 x 24 tire. And they do make a 24" 4 hump-bump rim at 10" wide. For use with the original Allis eccentrics. Agreed, a 14.9 x 28 looks good on a 12 inch rim, as does a 13.6. My old tires from my C read "9.5-24 on a 9 inch rim". I guess they were trying to clear up any confusion with the old vs new designations. So if you use rims with the hoops on the original Allis cast wheel disk, (without the wedge eccentrics), I wonder what is going to center the rim on the wheel disk? Fords use the hoops, but their wheel disc registers to the rim ID, keeping it concentric. Those hoops are "slotted", sounds like you are judging the bolts will more or less locate good enough on the rounded end of the hoops? I don't know, maybe. It's not designed to do that as far as I can see. On the other hand, we do have threads on this site about the original Allis B/C eccentric wedge design failing some how, letting the wheel fall off. I am doing good, tractor club show this morning, car show this afternoon, what a day. |

The only thing that controls the centering of the loop-style rims is the concentricity (or lack thereof) of the four holes in the original Allis cast wheel disk. The loops butt against the wheel disk, therefore the bolts are carrying the load in 'shear'. My Model C is not very heavily stressed so I don't worry about it much. My previous Model C had the original type wedge eccentrics and they kept slipping off the 'bumps' on the rims until I welded some stops on both end of each bump. I did the welding with the tire and tube mounted; I struck an arc, then welded a very short bead, let it cool, then repeated, etc. |

Miller has them... I think the LOOPS are pretty close to the OUTSIDE edge, so might work as is...

I just replaced CaCl rotted bump rims on my C with the Farmall type 4 loop rims. I used 10” rims with new 11.2x 24 tires. I used 5/8 carriage bolts 4 inches long with a lock washer & nut on the inside. Worked great!
