Originals that came on the tractors were white faced, right?  I found a working one at a yard sale, today, but it has a black face.  I think it was a replacement part, that was sold later, like in the 80's.  Anyone know when the face color changed?

No, the one I picked up today has rpms, in the outer circle, but no speed ranges.  Its mostly plain black space.  Has an AC logo, and an hour meter, but that's about it. single arm needle indicator.

There's A-C (Allis-Chalmers) and there's AC (AC Delco) tachometers.  The AC Delco versions were on all the hundred series, except the 160.
