We've got a pile of them here too. They love the feed, litter, dead birds, and the combination of all three. I got some stuff that we sprinkle around feed bins and kills them DEAD. I'll see what it's called and get back to you. It has a faint moth ball smell so if you use it inside keep that in mind.

saw on the internet... you take a 2L pop bottle, cut top off about 2-3" down, turn it upside down, slide into the bottle, 2-3 staples to secure it, get some fish and some water, add to bottle, place the 'trap' downwind of your sitting area...
one of those MORE is better.

i buy them traps at the farm stores...they are kinda like what Jay is describing, i puts a little water in them, they come with a fly attractant but i usually use some raw scrap meat and put inside. it'll attract and kill bouts a million or more in each unit. when the water dries up...they go in the burn barrel while the fire is going! i place them away from where we sit or do things like on the deck. still get some in the house and cook shack. i gots a trusty swatter too!

Hey Shameless, pick a dead calm day, turn that *#^&! machine straight up and turn it on. That should solve your fly problem! Guess you didn't think of that...Harvey
P.S. No need to thank me, glad to help.
