According to the serial number I have a 1967 170. I plan on painting it this winter and I assume the hood decals I need will be the “one seventy” and not the 170? What was the serial number break on the different decals?

is about the first of them, so def white decals. The black 170 decals didn't come until after the 175/185 came in 70, but it seems the black label 170 wasn't until 71 or 72.

Black decals for the 170 came out in 1971.  Not sure of the serial number.

At s/n 7501 the One-Seventy became the 170 with front mounted hydraulic pump and a new decal scheme. Change occurred in late 1971.
