 Topic: Headlights wiring location

My C has never had headlights and now I'm putting them on.
I can't figure out the best route for the wires from the headlights.
One route would go along the inside of the hood and the other route would be to go down the sides of the radiator and jump over the lower area of the engine, but they look rather awkward and exposed there.
Does anyone know the correct route of headlight wiring from the headlights to the switch?

The GREEN wire in the factory wiring harness splits out at the front of the generator then it connects to the insulated stud in the left side of the radiator shroud. Then the wires from the lights come out the other larger holes to the side of where the insulated stud is. The right headlight wire then come up over the top radiator hose (to keep it out of the fan) to the insulated stud.

B&B Custom Circuits has the insulated studs. I installed same when I wired lights on my ‘39 B.

I've always made my own insulated stud, by using a small grommet that fits the small hole and a #10 machine screw with a small OD flat washer on each side of the grommet, then a locknut to hold everything tight. Been doing that for over 40 years on tractors.
