Soon as the vacuum pump was turned on the herd of cats would show up along the walkway - Had a old milk can lid setting there up side down and when first milk was in the pain some had the be poured into that lid to start the process of feeding the flock .

Yup Coke and the dog got the filter from the strainer. I always wondered if it digested or came out whole? She lived for a LONG time and was one of the best cow dogs I've ever had!!

I used to do that with the cats but is was more fun with a long teated cow you would swing the milk from side to side and watch the cat try to not miss any.
