What loader fits the B/C models with an adjustable wide front?
My tractor looks like a Wide front C, but has a B transmission. |

I had a Henderson loader on mine, used tractor for parades, B is not a good tractor for loader work.

I have one with a Henderson. It mounts to the torque tube by the back of the engine. Not a good set up. I've never experienced it but been told people have broke their torque tubes over loading the loader.

I have a Henderson on my B also. Comes in handy for what I use it for. Pushin' back the compose pile, moving stuff, and a portable engine crane to. And on occasions, Jo Jo takes it for a spin around the property.... ![]() |

Really nice tractor and loader Steve.
I have an Allis #8 on my CA, don’t know if it will fit on a B or C, I’m sure it could be adapted to fit, but doubt it will just bolt on, these seem to be the most common loaders in my area. |

Steve, just curious, how do you get on and off the B with a loader on it?

yeah, looks like getting on and off might suck.
I think I'll have to find a WD and stick a loader on that. better yet, a D14.

Jo Jo gives me a boost up! Actually, I do the same thing as the Boss Man does. Drawbar, tire, seat. I had a step on the front, but when I installed the loader, I had to take the front step off which I then had to come up with a new route to the seat. Jo Jo doesn't like all the climbing, but she's a lightweight, so she manages even though she said its a PIA. LOL!
Bill, glad to hear yer' doing okay. Jo Jo read your post , laughed and said "he's so sweet". She said to say "hello" to you & your son Steve for her. With our busy schedules, we haven't been out to any Tractor shows. Then the Covid thing came along and she stayed home keeping busy with running the business, and working on her hobbies. She's also been helping me with her new "grocery getter". A 67' Nova Station Wagon. We're hangin' in there so far. Stay healthy my friend!! Hope to see you soon!!

Harv,
I was hopin' I could get a shake down run on it to York, PA to the Streetrod Nationals East, and hook up with the Fredster, but the wagon ain't gonna make it. Still needs a windshield put in it yet, and I have to finish up the brake system. We have plans on attending the show "car-less" so far. So if the Fredster makes it there, we'll probably hook up with him. Steve@B&B

Ladies and Gentlemen, If you operate a loader on a B-C or any unit please be careful. I have lost dear friends to loader accidents. Friends that I know knew better.
Basic loader doctrine "as the bucket goes up the center of gravity goes up too" Do remember and be careful. Good Luck! Bill Long Edited by Bill Long - 01 Jun 2021 at 2:43pm |

Thanks Rob! Its been an 8 year project from tear-down to rotisserie, to reassembly. Just fired up the the new crate 4.3L Vortec V6 with a few mods. I got a little carried away with it as usual. Brought the color into the engine box also.

Steve- That's a pair of DCOE Weber Carburetors. They're about as close to F.I. as you can get w/o the computer BS. Sorta' like Fuel injection with brains....
![]() Fred- It's only about a 15-20 minute ride for you right? Right up the road. I remember that one year Jo Jo and I stopped by the shop when we had the 29' pickup at the Nat's. Didn't take long at all to git' to your house if I remember right.... |
