If you can say a prayer for my mom. She has covid and not doing well. She wants to stay at home and not go to hospital. She turned 90 years old last month.I think she has given up. Pray for all of us as it is very hard to watch. Thanks, Tracy

I had a moderately severe case myself, so I understand what your Mom might be going thru?
If she has the awful congestion cough like I did - the one that doesn’t allow her to get a full breath, then her blood oxygen levels can decrease. I remedied this by breathing over a large mouth plastic cup FILLED WITH ICE & water. Hold it to her lower lip so she sucks cold air off top of icy water. Cold air shrinks inflamed bronchiole tubes & allows a full breath of air/oxygen to go deeper into her lungs, passed the blocked bronchioles where congestion limits oxygen uptake into blood stream. Get a oximeter from Walgreens/cvs/Walmart & monitor her O2 levels.
Dr also prescribed a steroid for 21 days. REST REST rest! Push lots of fluids. And keep her nutrition up(proteins, carbs, broth soup, etc).
Praying for her, you, & your families.

Prayers for your mom Tracy. My MIL is 92 and didn't think she needed the vac. Wife drove 5 hours and took her to get the shot both times. They are both stubborn so I just stayed out of their way.

Prayers from WI to you and all your family Tracy. I had a pretty bad case of it myself. I didn't eat for a whole week!! LOT'S of rest and lots of fluids. I got my taste back after about 2 weeks and still can't smell anything unless it is really bad. Just let her rest and time and God will heal her.
Got an address for us to send her some cards? That alone will cheer her up and I hope, help her get better.
