Hello there. So im a farmboy who accuired an 1936 (Unstyled) Allis-Chalmers WC back in 2012. But a few days ago while touring an old collapsed barn in a parts yard, i found an old rusty and orange toolbox with "WC" written on it. A little research only brought upp that it was a frame mount box, its made with a divit in it for mouting, it doesnt go on the fender. Im curious if anyone knows where it would go on the tractor, i havent found any holes that line up, or maybe if it goes on a styled one, unstyled, or something else. Thx. inside the right-hand frame rail, this is the only picture I could find, you can see it bolted under the frame lip, didn't take a picture of mine before removing it |

That style tool box was mainly used on styled wc's. Your 36 should have a tool box on the lower rear of left fender.

My styled WC "Hercules" has that box on the frame rail (like in Joe's pic) also my RC had a box in that spot also if I remember correctly. Some of those storage boxes you can put a whole lot into them. Especially when the bottom is rotted out and no longer there.... LOL!!

If anyone would like a tool box just send me a drawing with dimensions, and I should be able to make you one.

interesting. Might in the future. But first, can you make one that looks old and a bit rusty but still has paint. around a three quarters paint, one quater rust. Basically matching my WC.

It would be built of galvanized steel, and not painted, I leave that to you to match your tractor. Dusty

That toolbox will only work with a styled transmission. They moved the oil fill forward to accommodate the toolbox when the WC was styled.
