6080 Clutch not engaging

Today I was backing my tractor out of its parking spot and when I tried to shift into forward the clutch pushed in easier than normal and the pedal stayed down. After a bit the pedal came back up but now is easier to push down than normal and isn’t engaging anything and is stuck sitting in the middle of my driveway. I can’t find much info on the clutch online to know what to look for. Under the tractor I can see the cable and levers moving with the pedal. Thanks for any info/help anyone can give me.

The clutch is pretty standard on these.  The release bearing pushes on clutch forks which release pressure on the disc.  My first thought would be a broken clutch cable, just make sure when you are pushing on the pedal have someone confirm the linkage is moving below.  This is what they look like inside.  Another thing that could happen , not very common though would be the bolt holding the release fork to the cross rod could have backed out or broken(you can just see the head of the bolt in the picture).  If that bolt was missing I think you could spin that shaft all the way around?  Or the last little bit of friction material could have just come apart on the disc.

I can shift it when the engine is off and when I turn the key it does try to move when I turn the key. I don’t know anything about this clutch or any clutch for that matter and couldn’t find any exploded views online to look at. Underneath I can see the cable connected to a black arm that all move when I move the pedal.

Is there any tricks to get a clutch to disengage or do I have to split the tractor? I started it in 1st to get it out of my driveway. All the linkage looks good. Not much resistance when pushing the pedal.
