One-Ninety Belt Pulley

I recently bought a 190XT with the belt pulley on it. I've been told the 190 was the last tractor model with this as an option. A few questions.  1. How many 190's do you know of that has a belt pulley ON THE TRACTOR?    2. Out of 1000 One-Ninety tractors produced, how many would you guess had this option on it?  The WD Series, you could take the belt pulley off one tractor and mount on another easily.   3.  Do all the 190 Series have the internal gear and shift collar etc. installed at the factory so you can just mount the pulley assembly and go? Maybe someone has a tractor opened up where you could take a look see. I was thinking that with the few tractors getting the pulley, that A-C would have saved the money and only installed the internals as required.

At one point AC or an aftermarket company used the belt drive hole to run the ac compressors for the cab tractors. I thought the 175 still had the hole in the torque tube but used it to drive hyd pump.

I have a One Ninety XT diesel with factory belt pulley.  
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.

The tractor I just bought has engine problems and doesn't run. I was planning on putting the belt pulley on another XT I have. The control knob is located above the brake pedals through the firewall.

I had a gas xt that had been sitting quite a while. It had the lever to engage, but no linkage to it. I put a d series belt pulley on it and spun it with my 45 to get it limbered up and going again. Worked just fine.

All 190 and it's had the gear in side. Don't think any 200s had it. I use my belt drive with a different pulley to drive my sprayer pump.         MACK

flat Belt pulley is same .  Assembly is not as Dseries said below .

The local tractor boneyard close to me has a couple of 190s with belt pulleys on them.  I think the assemblies are longer on them in order for the belt to clear the sheet metal at the front.

That's pretty much what I had in mind. Any idea what the shaft rpm is on it?

Don't remember the RPMs, but I think around 1250 RPMs. I believe it is in owners manual .                  MACK

I have a OneNiney gas with a pulley and a friend has a XT gas with a pulley. Both were the only ones sold new by the dealer. Yes the D series pulley will work but the OneNiney casting is longer for the belt to clear the rad.

   Mack and Jim.   The pulley appears to be 1633 RPM with the engine at 2200

I have a 180 with a belt pulley, are they set up the same way?

Well yesterday I pulled the belt pulley cover plate off, and as Mack stated, the necessary gear, shift collar etc. were in place. So all I have to do is get a new gasket and switch the assembly from one tractor to another, along with transferring the shift rods.  

Eldon,
 AGCO Parts Book shows the internals and assembly to be the same on both 180 and 190 tractors.

Thanks, good to know. I have had a few people wanting to buy it off of this parts tractor but did not want to have to ship the whole torque tube.....
