I'm in the process of converting my D14 from 6 volt to 12 volt, and I am needing new headlights. My 6 volt bulbs are a sealed beam that measure 4 3/4" round and are held in with a lock ring wit a screw tightener. I can't find a replacement for this bulb. Does anyone have a source? I did find a glass lens and reflector that uses a replaceable bulb that looks like it might fit. Is that the only option?

The D-10 series III came from the factory 12 volt, it's a sealed beam Part #230252.
Will it fit ? I don't know. Could measure mine.

If your 6v sealed beam have two connectors.  Run 12v to one connector, run a wire from the second connector on that bulb to one connector on the other bulb and a wire from the last connector to ground.

D14s after serial number 19001 are 12 from the factory.  Those head lights are 4 1/2" in diameter.  I got a couple from the AGCO dealer and wrapped black electrical tape around the lip that the ring goes around.
You would never notice by looking at it.
