Ok, so I got a little tooooo close to the maple tree crater. It took 6 seconds to enter the crater, 6 hours to exit. Used 200 year old barn planks under the right tires and neighbour 4x4 Ford chained to loader frame upright. Slow and steady, she walked out fine.... Used BOTH Troy and Milton, tag team style, to haul stump out then Kubota to fill in the crater. Gotta have some fun in 90* sun, right ??

Should have just dumped your load in the hole and pulled out and pushed the dirt over the top and been done. Wink LOL
You know that there are days that some boyz shouldn't be playing with their toys...
 Glad you got it out.

Aside from a bruised ego, all is Ok. Still got 10 fingers and toes ! I SHOULD have left the stump for the new owners ('contractor' + GF) to deal with but being a nice guy felt I needed to 'clean up' that area.
Today's plan is to lift stump up with Milton then use Troy to back trailer under stump. I do this for giant pumkins, and sadly due to Covid-10 NO weighoffs at any fall fairs this year.

Well JB look at it this way. If you hadn't taken it out, Contractor or GF would be hitting it every first good snowfall and of course would need denarius from Mommy to fix front ends. This monies would slowly leak out of your fun funds over a course of time, only to repeat again the next season. This is an S.O.P. I've seen many times before with women and their children, neither seem to learn. Wink

yeah, 'can't win scenario'....sigh, kinda resigned myself to it...
'Milton' ( D-14 #4 ) lifted and hauled the stump up to the parking lot for me to deal with....
sure is NICE having tractors around here, though the 'hint' has been given that they need to 'find a good farm'....
hmm, inks not dry and that came up....

Oh the Mommy pressure is on now. If ya don't give in, you'll be buying him a new one (Fun Fund), and until either one you'll have no peace or sanity. Oh The Humanity. I so feel for ya.

thanks Steve, ya I really needed the 'close up' reminder LOL. I can still remember standing in the crater spinning them right side tires...
All is good though, no damage, life goes on....
Adjacent neighbour will be selling, 12 acres, there's 37 across the street for 5 mill, or I could buy a 12ac farm with million $ biz for just under 3.
All of them require a huge wad of cash, something at 67 I don't seem to have, also my energy level seems to be droppin...maybe stress from one of the soon to be new neighbours....
oh well...in the meantime I got to tear apart a 'gazebo' that took 3 hours to put together as TWO of the posts were assembled wrong.....
sigh... life is 'interesting'
