I've had one for many years. Works great. Mine is an earlier model, in dusty conditions you can watch it blow dust out the vents. A better design than factory models, but a large obstacle to see around.

We have run one for many years on AC175D as a precleaner for the original dry filter which was not adequate and allowed too much dust into the engine, requiring an overhaul!
Since installing the Turbo, no problems! But you must install the proper size for the CID, gas, Diesel. See the manufacturers chart for proper size. Once had to take apart to clean out the mud dauber nests which plugged it! |

A 175 had a small Perkins engine , tough and and a hard starter in cold weather,, I very seriously doubt it made a difference BIGGUY1000,, pretty sure there is a punk kid here

If you can find the old original style TURBO spinner type pre-cleaner, from 40 years ago, it will fit under the hood on a 7000 series tractor and then there is nothing to look around. It works very nicely, but I don't think they make that style any more.

I was a little concerned with the physical size as far as looking around it. A Budweiser can is heavier duty than the one I got from A&I, and I'm on the fence as far as a plastic one goes. If I'm buying a new pre cleaner I just don't want junk! Thanks fella's

I'd be willing to bet the the band clamp wasn't in the correct orientation or not tight enough in your circumstance
