That was for acrylic enamel paint. What brand equipment paint do you recommend that will last a good time and not fade quickly

I bought cheap latex barn and maintenance paint for my metal building I’ve been covering rusty
siding and wood. Don’t know about
fade but it looks 10x better than rust.

I can't see it taking more than a quart if you brushed it on. I buy 'Rustoleum' gloss black, goes on very nics, hardens fast. Use DollarTree brushes..

NAPA can order you a case of Krylon 1820 spray cans.  Good match for AC orange and stands up well.  I painted a whole RC with the spray cans in 2003 and it still looks good.

I used some Chevy engine orange (acrylic enamel) that I had on the shelf. I reuced it slightly and added hardener. It sprayed very well with a $10 HF HVLP gun.

I have been buying enamel by the gallon. I get a pint of Valspar hardener from Amazon and buy a quart of VM&P thinner from the box stores. The ration is 8-1-1. Eight parts paint. You can spray it at this mixture or what works well also is to get a 4 inch roller and tray. Get the white foam 4 inch rollers. Line the tray with aluminum foil. I buy brushes at Harbor Freight for a buck each. When finished you will have zero cleanup.
