Looks like folks enjoyed the post yesterday on White so I thought I would post a few pictures of my White 2-62 Field Boss Mudder. Just got it today. 4400 hours. Everything seems to work Needs some sheetmetal if anyone knows a source.
AC 6080 (8030,7060,200,175,D-17HC, 6040,160,6140 all gone) Farmall 1066 & 656 Hi-Clear (for sale), White 2-62 High Clearance, JD 4255 Hi Clear.

I think they sold a lot of them in the veggie growing areas of the west coast, when I was looking for a mudder twenty some years ago but was told the used ones are worn out when they quit running them.  I hope yours is a good one.

I think down here in cane country they were mainly used with an offset ditcher. Hard on the PTO maybe.

This one was sold by M.J. Naquin of Thibodaux La. who was a White AGCO dealer. Spitting distance from the former Thompson Machinery. He is still in business building custom tillage equipment.

I have a operators and service manual coming so I can get all the fluids changed to start things off.

This thing has a ton of slow speeds so I will use it with a mechanical transplanter for tobacco, dry fertilizer and pulling the wagon during harvest.

According to the internet the Isuzu engine is rock solid and capable of big hours.
