Years ago a land lord of ours had a Minneapolis Moline G1000 Vista. It is one of those like a D21 that stick with you. It had a cab, sort of. I never did see it run and I don't know the first thing about them. Do any of you know anything of these gold tractors? What would they compare with in the AC or Oliver lines?

A lot closer to an Oliver then AC. Big 585 CU IN slow turning engine, with care would last forever. Five speed transmission with either ampha torque high low or a three speed over under direct like an Oliver (same unit as Oliver). Watched a gasoline powered one sell for around $14,000 a year ago. Thought I might get it for $6,000, went past that so fast I didn't get a chance to bid. They made a lot of Diesel and LPG units, not so many gas ones, which is probably why it went so high.

It about the equivalent of a 200.My brother in law has one it has a cab similar to my 190. His front drive shaft is off as its only a parade machine, the front driveline binds driving on pavement. Sits high like a 190 not a lot of room in the cab. I personally like his G900 better it's nearly the same tractor only lower like a 185.

I took this picture about 10 years ago at a farm show up in Wisconsin. It was like a Farm Progress Show for dairymen. Just had a few tractors on display, but this one caught my eye.

Were they all dual PTO? And could the PTO be engaged without having to run the foot clutch? One thing for sure, they had style.

They have a live pto with a separate lever to engage. I believe they had both pto speeds. My M670 Super is just 540 pto but it's a 70 HP tractor.

When I was in the farm fuel business a few of my customers had them. I always kinda wanted 1. But at the time I had a chance to buy a D21. I let the AC dealer talk me out of buying the D21, it would have been a private deal. So I lost out on both deals.
