Mack, in your opinion, what was the most "challenging" issue that came up during the modifications to make the 2 units work? How did you get the reel to run on the green head, aren't they run with a pump ? Thanks

Mounted a hydraulic pump above right drive shaft. Used a flow control valve with control cable to cab. MACK

Josh, is your F-2 combine equipped with auto-header height control ??? That feature was NOT necessarily standard equipment.

Our local Allis dealer used to have a kit available to add auto header height control to older F and F2s. In which case the 313 head could be used to work with it.

Yes dr. It has the valve on right side of cab. Just bought the machine. Didn’t get it home yet. Has a 13 ft ridged head. Like to find a flex head and get the auto control working. Kinda new to me

Best to get a head with electric header control, and put electric valve on combine. You will hate the oil heating hydraulic control even with helper springs. MACK

300 series came with the electric height control system, but that doesn't mean there isn't an older 200 series head that has been converted to electric. You have to add-on and electric control valve system to the combine if you choose to go that way with the header.
