Jenn said I had to go to the ER instead of to the Razorbacks first game. I haven’t been able to talk or eat cept through a straw for 3 days now. I started getting fever’s night before last and last night fevered all night. She gave the tickets to my cousin Mindy (who has never been to a Razorback game) and then to ER. I started getting a nasty taste in my mouth. She pulled over and I drained a whole bunch of the lump in my cheek. I already feel better and no ER and I get to try to eat biscuits n gravy. I’m a happy camper.

Dang there Buddy,,,I'm thinkin you might outa go see your PCP as it is very EASY to get an infection after an extraction "especially" f the dentist had to cut, grind or chip the tooth to remove. Thas exactly what happened with me as my jaw pain just kept goin on and on and it was getting infected,,!! She put me on antibiotics and it cleared up 4-5 days later. She knew something was not kosher when I told her that I kept getting a bad metal like taste in my mouth,,, Now I'm wonderin if our dentists are related somehow,,,,??

Better get that checked out Thad. Doesn’t sound like something that gets fixed while pulled over in the side of the road.

That's a pretty foul mouth there Thad, all joking aside you best get that looked at. It's a pretty short path from there to the brain, and then your in some deep doo doo.

you can TOUGH out a lot of things...this don't sound like its one of them... could be serious.. if you draining THAT MUCH, you need antibiotics , NOW.

Jenn talked to the Dentist and a Dr. yesterday and they have me on some high power antibiotics. She’s a nurse and keeps a good eye on things.

Yikes,,Thad,, I had plumb forgot that Jenn "IS" a nurse,,so you is in good hands and like all say,,we all feel much better now,,,,!!!  Say,,have you tried some of that "Hylands Leg Cramps" ? They have it at walmart and I been takin one pill before goin to bed and have not had a cramping incidint,,,yet. I still went ahead and made an appointment with my PCP to do bloodwork and see where I am and need to do,,,dang I hate them night cramps,,,!!!

Joe she has appointments made for blood work a stress test an echo an ultrasound and I don’t know what all. She’s trying to set these up at the hospital near here . Some stuff I’ll have to go to The city for. I’m taking all this serious but it’s causing some tension at work. I’ll be glad when some of this is over.

Well,,just don't you worry bout any stress on the part of others at work,,if they can't acknowledge and oblige all your extra efforts when the chips are down on your part,,,then maybe it is time to move on down the road where your extra efforts mean more.
Far too many of "US" just keep sloggin for the man without much concern for our own personal health,,,It's just too bad that most of those "mans" will consider THEIR bottom line instead of their employee's health. Take care of #1, Jenn, and #1 1/2, you,,!!

By the way,,,Thad,,,how did them Razorbacks do this past weekend,,,?? Ever since them crybabies started their "Poor Me" BS,,I have not watched a single NFL game on TV and now follow College teams instead. I've always rooted for them Razorbacks AND them Huskers with a few others like OU and The Longhorns

I had a neighbor that got an infection from a bad tooth that was removed. He didn't think he had time to go to the doctor, cause it was time to plant corn.
They buried him a week later. The infection got in his blood and into the sac around his heart. A doctor visit would have been much cheaper than a funeral and now his son has to do all the planting.

Chask I’m home and feeling ok. Onlyst problem I don’t have any more Wisdom left. The ride home through all the curves was rough but the rest wasn’t bad. Went to bed when I got home and just got up.

Old Goats Ray, misfit old Goats but y’all all mean a whole lot to this old Goat. The nurse is keeping a good eye on me and asking a lot of questions. She’ll keep me safe I promise. They have me on a new batch of antibiotics some high power rinse and pain pills. I havent taken a pain pill. Honestly I’m quite scared of them. All is good

Well Thad, while you were losing your "Wisdom" I made that trip over to Oahu and visited Pearl Harbor. Pretty impressive. Same as you with the USS Missouri, went by in in a boat but didn't do the tour......though I did try to get more 'up close' by attempting to drive onto Ford Island. Given that I didn't have a Military ID and my AC Forum membership wasn't accepted, we were promptly re-directed to a turn around by fully armed members the U.S. Navy and the Coast Guard. After they were convinced we were likely not terrorist, had my car pointed in the return direction, they handed back my ID and told us to have a "good day and perhaps we should consider the Bus Tour".

Scott we went on a sailboat whale watch. We were out there and there was a ship full of cargo containers. I tried to get the Captain to get close so I could look it over. He wasn’t amused and said we’d all be shot on sight. There were big military boats circling it constantly.
