Hey guys we are selling a very nice 190xt 1967 model.  This tractor is all original paint other then the wheels and rims, and some touch up on engine and frames.  I did put a set of decals on the tractor. Tractor has had new injectors and recent injection pump rebuild.  Very strong tractor.  Has also had power director rebuilt. factory front weight.  Tires are 90% all the way around. Rims are very nice never fluid in the rears.  Excellent machine.  Hard to find one this nice.  $8500 OBO

Andrew, all of the one-nineties I've ever been around have had live PTO only by use of the PD clutch, however in Norm Swinford's book he talks of an independent PTO with a hydraulic clutch being available as an option on one-nineties. This one-ninety wouldn't be one of them, would it? Only reason I ask is because I don't see the PTO lever sticking through the floor like it is on mine. Thanks, Darrel.

We (me,brother and Dad) have 3 190's (1965 190, 1965 gas 190XT, and 1970 190XT Landhandler) and two have the hydraulic PTO. Real nice to have when square baling but I still used the PD clutch as the foot clutch still stops everything. I actually like that cause pushing in the foot clutch is the first thing you naturally do in a panic situation. At least I do. Love all these tractors but I don't like the mechanical PTO engagement of my straight 190. Lever needs to be longer like some later 190's have. That would make it easier to use.

yes this is one of them with the hydraulic pto, and yes it is very handy and nice.

The hyrdraulic pto's were not independant. They are live only when when using the power director. The only differance is that they had a hydraulic clutch in front of the engagement gear.

Is a very good looking tractor, Andrew. One more question, though, in regards to the PTO. I now realize that the hyd clutch is still not truely live with the foot clutch, but you should be able to engage the hyd PTO without stepping on the clutch to do it, right? Thanks, Darrel.   P.S. If I win the lottery tonight, I'll be down there tomorrow to buy the 190!

On a 190 with hydraulically engaged PTO you can engage the PTO without touching the foot clutch but the foot clutch can still stop the PTO. Using the hand clutch you can stop the tractor without affecting the PTO. That's called "Live PTO". "Live Independent PTO" is something a bit different in that the PTO is totally independent of the foot clutch, like a 7000 would be. I have ran both a lot and if you need to stop the PTO fast te foot clutch on the 190 is faster as you naturally push the clutch in when trouble arises. On my 7050 I have to think for just a split second before I reach back for the lever.
