First Dipstick and then Marion , northwest Indiana just lost a couple good men.

Sad to hear this. Went to his Little K wheat harvest several years ago when my middle daughter was in Lafayette. She was impressed as was I. Quite a working collection and a nice man/family. So sad that the vast knowledge goes with these great men when they are gone from this earth.
sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"

I first met Marion on a tractor caravan to Canada in 2004. He rode a Jittny made from a WC that could go about 40 MPH and kept a watchfull eye on us for Jim Roney the leader and organizer.   Both are now goneOuch

So sorry to hear this also.  I met him on a road trip I had a few years back.  Like Joe (Dipstick), he was a wealth of knowledge and if I could have spent time learning all they knew......... Those two forgot more than I'll ever know about these tractors and machinery.

Prayers go out to the family and friends.  May God watch over them in this hour of need.

Sad to hear of Marion's passing.  Last visited with Marion at Pontiac.  Our history began around 2004 when he and I went to New Zealand and stayed with Noel and Sally Yearbury, very memorable trip.

RIP Marion.

I was at one of his Wheatstocks years ago.  Of course it was the year it was rained out but he gave us a private tour of his collection instead!  Great guy.  Amazing knowledge.

When did Dipstick pass?  I hadn't heard.  He was a great guy too.
